Temperatures can be selected freely within the technical limits to simulate a wide range of operating conditions, and the unit may be run with its built-in or an external sensor. Heating power is approximately 120 W at 230 V AC; a permanently installed PT-100 sensor and an 80 °C temperature limiter support safe control. Connection leads are 1,5 m long with a diode plug for the PT-100, and the mantle is secured by a silicone band.
