À partir de gel de silice NUCLEODUR® de haute pureté, un groupe polaire a été intégré dans une modification hydrophobe C18. Par conséquent, cette phase HPLC présente une sélectivité stérique et une sélectivité polaire accrue. Cette phase HPLC affiche de bonnes performances dans des conditions hautement aqueuses. Il s'agit d'une phase hydrophobe avec des propriétés hydrophiles prononcées. Mécanisme de séparation basé sur des interactions hydrophobes (van der Waals) et polaires. Adapté à la LC/MS grâce à de faibles caractéristiques de dérive (bleeding).
