Description
ICP Multi-Element Standard Solution CR-106 is a ROTI®Star multi-element calibration solution containing six elements in 2 %. HNO3 for trace analytical work. The preparation provides 100 mg/l of aluminium, barium, calcium, potassium, magnesium and sodium, supporting multi-element calibration and quality control in ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS and related water-analysis methods. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is 100 °C; the solution is classified under UN number 3264. This ROTI®Star grade material from manufacturer Carl ROTH offers a defined six-element mix in dilute nitric acid, suited to routine instrument calibration sequences where Al, Ba, Ca, K, Mg and Na must be introduced together. The ready-to-use liquid format simplifies preparation of working standards for environmental, process and research laboratories that rely on ICP and AAS techniques for multi-element determination.
This article is part of ICP, AAS & ion standards, in Analytical standards & reference materials.

Questions about ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-106, ROTI®Star 6 elements in 2 % HNO3, 100 ml
What is this article?
ICP Multi-Element Standard Sol. CR-106, ROTI®Star 6 elements in 2 % HNO3, 100 ml is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Produits chimiques.
An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.
A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
