IKA PETTE vario 1 - 10 ml is a single-channel variable-volume pipette intended for precise dosing in diverse laboratory applications. Colour coding simplifies rapid selection, while the shock-resistant, UV- and chemically resistant tip cone supports dependable performance over extended use. Supplied with three interchangeable grips of different shapes and materials, the pipette can be tailored to each user’s hand for ergonomic, wrist-friendly handling and reproducible results day after day. Volume is set in two stages (coarse and fine); locking, unlocking and fine adjustment are all done one-handed via the multifunction button, with the selected volume shown continuously in large digits on the display. Tip ejection follows the same central button press without a change of hand position and works equally well for left- and right-handed operators. The piston (PPSU) and tip cone (PPS) are high-performance plastics chosen for chemical resistance, stiffness and low, even force during aspiration and dispensing. From manufacturer IKA, the volume unit dismantles quickly for cleaning, reassembles with an audible click for process security, and is adjusted tool-free after calibration then locked against accidental alteration. A housing QR code links serial number to the instrument for error-free capture and monitoring. Fully or partially autoclavable at 121 °C, the pipette accepts universal tips from most manufacturers (maximum tip volume 10 ml) with standard grey, yellow and blue colour coding.
