Its practical flip/flop evaluation device supports convenient operation, while the compact, lightweight design and optional battery power enable high mobility across several workplaces. The platform features a stainless steel weighing plate, painted steel base and a silicone-coated aluminium load cell with IP65 dust and splash protection. A spirit level and adjustable feet are included as standard for precise levelling and reliable weighing results. Checkweighing provides optical and acoustic signals to assist portioning, dosing or sorting, and the hold function calculates a stable value by averaging under unsteady conditions. A bench stand with wall bracket for the evaluation device and a protective working cover are supplied. Enquiry and remote control via external controllers or computers are supported through the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) from manufacturer Kern, a standardised interface command set that is largely compatible with MT-SICS and simplifies connection to computers and industrial control systems.
