Optional battery operation and a compact, lightweight build give high mobility for multi-site use in laboratories, production, quality inspection and order picking. The platform comprises a stainless steel weighing plate on a painted steel substructure with a silicone-coated aluminium load cell that provides IP65 dust and splash protection. A spirit level and adjustable feet are included as standard to ensure exact levelling and precise weighing results. Weighing with tolerance range (checkweighing) is supported by optical and acoustic signals for portioning, dosing or sorting, while the Hold function calculates a stable weight by averaging under unsteady conditions. Delivery includes a table stand with wall mount for the evaluation device and a protective working cover. Querying and remote control of the scale via external controllers or computers are enabled by the KERN Communication Protocol (KCP) from manufacturer Kern, a standardised interface command set largely compatible with MT-SICS for straightforward integration into computers, industrial controls and other digital systems.
