IoT-Line bench scale KERN FCB 30K-4 is a compact control and portioning scale intended for laboratory and industrial weighing tasks. The instrument follows a uniform, comfortable KERN operating philosophy that is consistent across product lines in design, menu structure, key functions, interface connection and protocol. Compact dimensions help when bench space is limited. Industry 4.0 readiness is provided by the KERN Universal Port (KUP), which allows data and control commands to be exchanged via one interface on the housing or, using a KUP Extension Box, via up to three interfaces in parallel. Optional interfaces comprise RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth. The balance can be queried and remotely controlled from a computer or CRM/ERP system by means of the KERN Communication Protocol. Optional battery or rechargeable operation and the light, portable construction support mobile use at several locations. Checkweighing permits entry of two upper and two lower tolerance limits via four arrow keys, with optical and acoustic signals to aid portioning, dosing or sorting. Weight values can be totalled.
