IoT-Line floor scale KERN BFC 1T-5D is a networkable industrial floor scale for laboratory and production weighing. The weighing plate has a smooth surface screwed from above, so it can be removed easily and cleaned hygienically. Four silicone-coated alloy steel load cells offer dust and splash-water protection to IP67. The evaluation device follows the KERN KFC-TM concept and supports the comfortable IoT-Line operating philosophy from manufacturer Kern. For Industry 4.0 integration, the KERN Universal Port (KUP) enables exchange of data and control commands via an interface on the housing, or via a KUP Extension Box over three interfaces in parallel. A standard real-time clock logs weighing results with exact time stamps and keeps the correct time even after a power interruption. A table stand including wall mount for the display unit and a protective working cover are supplied as standard.
