IoT-Line floor scale KERN BFC 2T-5DS is a network-ready industrial platform scale designed for hygienic, Industry 4.0 weighing environments. The weighing plate features a smooth surface screwed from above, so it can be removed easily and cleaned thoroughly. Four silicone-coated alloy steel load cells provide dust and splash protection to IP67. The evaluation device follows the KERN KFC-TM concept and supports a comfortable operating philosophy typical of the IoT-Line. Via the KERN Universal Port (KUP), data and control commands can be exchanged through one interface on the housing or, with the KUP Extension Box, through three interfaces in parallel—ideal for connected production and laboratory logistics. A standard real-time clock timestamps weighing results and keeps correct time even after power interruption. Supplied accessories from manufacturer Kern include a table stand with wall bracket for the display unit plus a protective working cover. Net weight is 100 kg (gross 135 kg), offered as a complete single-unit system for demanding floor-scale applications.
