Sheathed thermocouple NiCr-NiAl (type K), 250 mm long with diameter Ø 3,0 mm, is a compact temperature sensor for laboratory and process measurement. The NiCr-NiAl (type K) couple supports use up to 1100 °C and is suited to furnaces, reactors, and general thermal monitoring where a slim, durable probe is required. The protective sheath is Inconel; the thermo wires are embedded in magnesium for mechanical stability and electrical insulation along the probe length. Maximum cold-junction temperature is 80 °C. A permanently connected 1 metre compensation cable is fitted as standard, with other cable lengths available on request. Offered as a single piece from manufacturer LAT, this sheathed thermocouple pairs with instruments that accept type K inputs and is practical for installations needing a defined insertion length and robust mineral-insulated construction.
