LAUDA PRO RP 240 E is a cooling-heating circulation thermostat with modern microprocessor technology and an integrated cooling system for demanding laboratory temperature control. The working and operating temperature range spans −40 to 200 °C with temperature stability of ±0,05 K. A bright, high-contrast graphical OLED display, cursor keys and softkeys, together with EasyUse operation and a SelfCheck diagnostic assistant, keep routine work straightforward. The detachable console enables remote operation, while an integrated programmer provides one programme with up to 20 segments. Fully electronic continuous PID control for internal and external regulation, PowerAdapt heating management, and standard USB plus Ethernet interfaces support flexible system integration; an optional interface module can be added later. Low-level and adjustable overtemperature protection with acoustic alarm cover flammable and non-flammable bath liquids. SmartCool digital refrigeration control with compressor automation, hybrid condenser cooling and natural refrigerant R-290 deliver energy-conscious cooling. From manufacturer Lauda, the tower-format unit uses a low fill volume of 2,4 to 4,4 L in an insulated stainless-steel chamber with overflow and drain cock.
