LAUDA PRO RP 290 E is a cooling-heating circulation thermostat designed for precise temperature control from −90 to 200 °C with a temperature stability of 0,05 ± K. The unit combines modern microprocessor technology with an integrated cooling system and a bright, high-contrast graphical OLED display. An integrated programmer supports one program with up to 20 segments, while cursor keys and softkeys together with the EasyUse concept simplify everyday operation. The SelfCheck assistant supports system diagnostics, and the detachable operating console enables remote control. Tower construction keeps the footprint small, and the low fill volume of 2,4 to 4,4 L allows rapid temperature changes. The insulated stainless-steel bath chamber includes overflow and drain cock. A LAUDA Varioflex pump offers eight selectable performance levels with rear connections (M16 × 1, 13 mm olives), delivering up to 0,7 bar pressure and 22 L/min. USB and Ethernet interfaces are standard; an interface module can be added later. Full electronic continuous PID control covers internal and external regulation, supported by PowerAdapt heating management and SmartCool energy-saving refrigeration with hybrid condenser cooling and natural refrigerants. Maximum heating power is 2,5 kW at 230 V; 50 Hz. Overall dimensions are 390 × 600 × 685 mm and weight is 77 kg (Lauda).
