LR-2.ST the Compact Power is a modular laboratory reactor for optimising and reproducing chemical reaction, mixing and homogenising processes at laboratory scale. The design centres on robust stirrer shaft mounts that safely transmit high motor torque. Free ports in the reactor lid accept dispersing devices such as ULTRA-TURRAX® units, temperature sensors, flow breakers and further accessories. The system is suitable for vacuum operation and uses product-contact seals of solvent- and temperature-resistant perfluoroelastomer (FFPM). Speed is continuously adjustable; an integrated torque trend display supports monitoring of viscosity changes, while microprocessor control holds the set speed constant even under load. A removable Wireless Controller (WiCo) enables safe operation inside a fume hood. The complete LR-2.ST package from manufacturer IKA comprises the stand system, the EUROSTAR 60 control laboratory stirrer (higher speed, no gear stages), safety shut-off and reactor lid. Net weight is 25,000 kg. Ideal for reproducible lab-scale process development in chemistry and related fields.
