Description

Moonlab® 50 ml conical centrifuge tubes in clear polypropylene (PP) are sterile, graduated laboratory tubes with a flat PE screw cap and a writing field for sample identification. Designed for standard life-science workflows, the 50 ml format is rated for centrifugation up to 9000 rpm, while related 15 ml tubes in the same line are specified up to 8600 rpm. Temperature resistance from −20 °C to 121 °C supports chilled storage through autoclave conditions within the stated range. Tubes are pyrogen-free and sterilised by gamma irradiation, making them suitable for cell culture support work, sample clarification, aliquoting and routine molecular or biochemical preparations. The conical base aids pellet recovery after spinning, and the secure screw closure helps limit leakage during handling and transport. Available from manufacturer neolab - Labor in bagged multipacks (20 × 25), with a total pack of 500 pieces, these clear sterile PP tubes fit everyday centrifuge and bench applications across research and quality-control laboratories.

Questions about Moonlab® Zentrifugenröhrchen 50 ml, konisch, klar, flache Kappe, steril, PP, 20

What is this article?

Moonlab® Zentrifugenröhrchen 50 ml, konisch, klar, flache Kappe, steril, PP, 20 is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Bouchons à vis & fermetures, inside Bouchons, capuchons & fermetures, in Matériel de laboratoire.

A screw cap has a thread and a liner. The thread has to match the bottle. The liner has to survive the liquid: a pulp liner fails in a solvent that a PTFE-faced liner ignores. The colour of the cap is not the specification.

A closure is the part that decides whether a bottle stays shut and whether the contents attack the seal. A ground-glass stopper matches a ground neck. A screw cap needs the right thread and a liner that survives the liquid. Rubber and silicone stoppers push into a mouth. The liner, not the colour of the cap, is the chemical choice. The vessels they close are indexed under ISO laboratory glassware.
