Description

Neodymium ICP Standard Solution is a single-element calibration standard containing 10 000 mg/l neodymium (Nd). The preparation is supplied as a 100 ml unit and belongs to the ROTI®Star series from manufacturer Carl ROTH. Density is approximately 1 g/cm³ and the boiling point is greater than 83 °C. This neodymium standard is intended for inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) and related atomic spectroscopy. The 10 000 mg/l Nd level allows laboratories to prepare intermediate and working calibrants by accurate dilution, to check plasma instrument response and to quantify neodymium in prepared samples. The 100 ml pack is convenient for laboratory stock of a concentrated single-element standard. ROTI®Star neodymium ICP solution offers a defined 10 000 mg/l Nd concentration for calibration, method verification and quality-control work. Transport is associated with UN number 2031. Used as a stock standard, the solution supports consistent day-to-day calibration of ICP-OES systems for the rare-earth element neodymium.

Questions about Neodymium ICP Standard Solution, ROTI®Star, 10000 mg/l Nd, Density (D) ~1 g/cm³

What is this article?

Neodymium ICP Standard Solution, ROTI®Star, 10000 mg/l Nd, Density (D) ~1 g/cm³ is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Carl Roth for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Produits chimiques de laboratoire et industriels.

An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.

A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
