Description
neoChoice conductivity meter with two-electrode conductivity measuring cell is a compact portable instrument for laboratory conductivity determination. It fulfils the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV 2001) and DIN EN 27888. Measuring ranges are selectable manually or by autorange and cover 0,0–200 µS/cm, 0–2000 µS/cm, 0,00–20,00 mS/cm and 0,0–200,0 mS/cm, with resolutions of 0,1 µS/cm, 1 µS/cm, 0,01 mS/cm and 0,1 mS/cm respectively. The two-electrode cell incorporates an integrated temperature sensor operating from −5 °C to +100 °C at 0,1 °C resolution. Accuracy is specified as ± 0,5 % of measured value / ± 0,3 % FS or ± 2 µS/cm, and ± 0,3 K for temperature. Dual four-digit LCD displays present current readings together with min/max values. The electrode is 120 mm long, 12 mm in diameter and fitted with a 1 m cable. Calibration is performed with standard solution; six membrane keys, min/max memory and a serial interface are provided. The impact-resistant ABS housing offers front-side IP 65 protection, measures 142 × 71 × 26 mm and weighs approximately 225 g. Power is supplied by an included 9 V battery with a current draw of about 2,0 mA. This meter is available from manufacturer neolab - Labor as a complete ready-to-use unit.

Questions about neoChoice Leitfähigkeitsmessgerät mit Zwei-Elektroden-Leitfähigkeits-Messzelle m
What is this article?
neoChoice Leitfähigkeitsmessgerät mit Zwei-Elektroden-Leitfähigkeits-Messzelle m is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes neolab for laboratory use. It sits in Conductivity meters & cells, inside pH & electrochemistry, in Instruments de précision.
A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.
A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
