Only the corners of each cuvette touch the rack, so optical faces stay freer from contact and quartz cuvettes are less likely to be scratched during loading and unloading. It is intended for cuvettes with a 10 mm path length and is well suited to routine absorbance work, method development and multi-sample sequences. Model B adds formed side sections that allow several racks to be stacked securely, saving bench and storage space when sample sets grow. External dimensions are 114 × 111 × 111 mm. The unit is autoclavable up to 121 °C for standard laboratory sterilisation cycles.
