Pressure relief/check valve with NS 14,5/23 and standard stopcock with 3 mm bore provides dual functionality for laboratory glass systems requiring controlled overpressure protection and vacuum-compatible check action. A spring-loaded ball joint acts as the relief element, while a higher-viscosity sealing liquid maintains reliable tightness under operating conditions. Spring pressure is fully adjustable; the valve may also be preset and sealed on request. Maximum overpressure is 0,1 bar. When used as a check valve under vacuum, an immersed riser tube prevents contamination of the process by the sealing liquid. For particularly aggressive media the spring can be covered with an inert liquid for additional protection.
