Description

openend® open-end capillaries are micro disposable pipettes with a nominal volume of 10 µl and a length of 60 mm, sodium-heparinized for blood and related micro-sampling work. Made from DURAN® glass, each capillary includes a predetermined breaking point that supports exact volume setting in routine laboratory practice. The design is supplied with a declaration of conformity according to DIN 12600 and is CE marked in accordance with IVD 98/79 EG, addressing clinical and diagnostic capillary applications. The pack provides 1000 pieces configured as 10×100 units, which is practical for high-throughput haematology and micro-volume transfer workflows. These capillaries from manufacturer Hirschmann combine open-end geometry with sodium heparin treatment to limit clotting during collection and handling. The 60 mm length balances ease of use with precise control at the 10 µl level for single-use sampling. Suitable for laboratories that require disposable glass capillaries with documented conformity for in-vitro diagnostic use. The openend® format is established for reliable micro pipetting where heparinized glass and defined break points are preferred over untreated alternatives.

Questions about OPENEND CAPILLARIES 10 µl, L 60MM, NA-HEP, 1000 PIECES

What is this article?

OPENEND CAPILLARIES 10 µl, L 60MM, NA-HEP, 1000 PIECES is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hirschmann for laboratory use. It sits in Markers & pens, inside Labels, signs & marking, in Sécurité.

A laboratory marker is specified by the surface and the conditions it still reads after: frozen tubes, autoclaved labels, a solvent-splashed bottle. An ordinary whiteboard pen is not that marker. Permanent on paper and permanent on a cold polypropylene tube are different claims.

A label is how the next person knows what is in the bottle. A GHS label carries the pictogram, the signal word and the hazard statements the classification requires. A tape or a marker is only as useful as its survival in the freezer, the autoclave or the solvent it will meet. A safety sign is the instruction that stays on the door. The pictograms come from the CLP Regulation and are explained by ECHA CLP. Workplace signs sit with EU-OSHA.
