The filtration corresponds in design and function to the requirements of the Biological Agents Ordinance including TRBA 100 as well as the GenTSV. Exhaust air filtration incorporates sterilisation of the condensate and temperature-controlled sterilisation of the filter candle in every cycle. A PT 100 temperature sensor integrated into the filter housing secures sterilisation success. The filter housing is readily accessible for the user within the enclosure and reachable when the lid is open. A pressure-tight stainless steel housing encloses the stainless-steel-supported hydrophobic filter element with 0,2 µm mesh size. Filter element service life can be monitored via the batch counter integrated in the control system.
