Description

The pH/conductivity/TDS/°C probe is a pre-amplified multiparameter sensor with integrated temperature measurement for meters HI991300 and HI991301 (Quick DIN versions from 2018 onward). It combines pH and EC sensing with automatic temperature compensation in a single assembly. The pH element uses low-temperature glass, a spherical tip, a textile junction and gel electrolyte with a single Ag/AgCl reference. Stated operating ranges are pH 0 to 13 and temperature 0,0 to 50,0 °C, with a maximum pressure of 0,1 bar. Connection is via a Quick Connect DIN interface on a 1 m seven-pin cable. Recommended uses include general laboratory and process checks, boilers, cooling towers, agriculture and water treatment. This probe from manufacturer Hanna Instruments is supplied as one piece and is matched to the HI991300/HI991301 platform, giving a compact route to simultaneous pH, conductivity/TDS and temperature data where a pre-amplified Quick-DIN multiparameter sensor is required. The gel-filled, textile-junction design supports straightforward handling across the listed application areas without separate temperature probes.

Questions about sonde pH/EC/TDS/°C pour HI991300 et HI991301, DIN

What is this article?

sonde pH/EC/TDS/°C pour HI991300 et HI991301, DIN is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Hanna Instruments for laboratory use. It sits in Conductimètres & cellules, inside pH & électrochimie, in Instruments de laboratoire.

A conductivity meter and its cell measure how well a solution carries current. The cell constant is the geometry that converts conductance to conductivity, and it is calibrated with a standard. Temperature compensation matters because conductivity rises with temperature.

A pH meter is a voltmeter on a glass electrode. The voltage tracks hydrogen-ion activity, and the electrode is converted to pH only after it is adjusted with buffers of known value. Conductivity measures how well a solution carries a current, which for dilute salts tracks concentration. Dissolved oxygen and titration are further electrodes on the same idea: a sensor, a standard, and a reading that is only as fresh as the calibration. Buffer values and chemical identity sit on PubChem. Accreditation of the calibration laboratory is the field of BELAC and EURAMET.
