Description
Pipe clamp probe Pt100 enables fast and precise surface temperature measurements on pipes when used with a suitable measuring instrument ordered separately. The probe connects via a permanently attached cable and is designed for pipe diameters from 6 to 120 mm. The Pt100 temperature sensor is mounted on a wide 430 mm band fitted with a hook-and-loop fastener that allows quick and simple attachment around the pipe. This arrangement makes the probe well suited, for example, to measuring the surface temperature of refrigerant lines or to checking flow and return temperatures on heating systems. For optimum heat transfer between the surface probe and the measurement object, the additional use of silicone heat-conducting paste is recommended. Supplied as one piece from manufacturer Testo, the pipe clamp probe supports efficient installation and reliable readings in HVAC and refrigeration applications. The broad band ensures stable contact across the specified diameter range, while the fixed cable provides a secure link to the meter. Net weight is 0,11 kg.
