Description
Pit frame KERN BFS-A04N is a stable installation frame for embedding a weighing bridge so that drive-on access remains barrier-free. It is dimensioned 1335 × 1585 × 80 mm (W × D × H) and is intended for models with weighing plate size B of 1500 × 1250 × 80 mm. The frame is not retrofittable and must therefore be incorporated during the original pit construction. Manufactured by Kern, the BFS-A04N supports flush floor-scale installations in industrial, warehouse and goods-in environments where large platforms are used with wheeled traffic. By holding the weighing bridge level with the surrounding floor, it removes the need for separate approach ramps on compatible size-B systems. Supplied as a single unit with a net weight of 42 kg and a gross weight of 46 kg, the frame matches the stated B-series plate format for correct mechanical fit. This accessory is aimed at permanent weighing stations that require unobstructed loading of pallets, trolleys or containers onto a 1500 × 1250 mm platform while maintaining a clean, level floor line around the scale.
