Low range ammonia photometer HI97700C is a portable, battery-powered dedicated photometer supplied in a carrying case with standards for ammonia measurement from 0,00 to 3,00 mg/L as ammonia-nitrogen (NH3-N). Results may also be shown as ammonia or ammonium. Belonging to the HI97xxx series, the meter combines a sealed optical path, LED illumination and a narrow-band interference filter at 420 nm to deliver accurate, repeatable Nessler-method readings aligned with ASTM D1426. Resolution is 0,01 mg/L; accuracy at 25 °C is ±0,04 mg/L ±4 % of reading. Round cuvettes of 24,6 mm diameter locate reproducibly in the holder. CAL Check with NIST-traceable standards lets users verify performance and recalibrate when required, while the tutorial mode details every preparation step and reagent volume.
