Description
Pure water system, Smart2Pure UV/UF 3 l/h, incl. Smart2Pure unit with integral tank incl. pressure and recirculation pump, PVC-connecting hose 1.5 m straight/angle, sterile filter capsule 0.2 µm, pretreatment pack and pure water cartridge, PE-connecting hose 6/4
Compact system for the production of contamination-free water from mains water. The device is connected directly to the mains water supply.
- ASTM Type I (resistance of 18.2 MΩ x cm)
- ASTM Type II (resistance of 10-15 MΩ x cm)
- Combined cartridge (reverse osmosis membrane/activated charcoal) for pre-treatment of feed water
- Direct tapping of type I ultrapure water through a sterile end filter (0.2 µm)
- Integrated 6-litre tank for storing type II pure water
- Guaranteed pure water quality: the recirculation pump and sterile air filter protect from microbial contamination
- Additional pressure outlet on ultrapure water tank for supplying downstream devices
- Simple and economical change of expendables as treatment cartridges can be replaced separately
- Space-saving mounting on laboratory bench or on the wall

With UV lamp and UF module. The UF ultra-filtration module guarantees almost complete elimination of macro-molecular contamination such as micro-organisms, pyrogens (bacterial endotoxins), nucleases and particles; the combination of UV oxidation (254 and 185 nm) and ultra-filtration produces analytically pure water with a specific resistance of up to 18.2 MΩ cm, TOC values of <5 ppb, pyrogene levels of <0.001 EU/ml and RNase, DNase and DNA concentrations below the detection limit.Typical applications: molecular biology, PCR, DNA, monoclonal antibodies, cell culture media.

Questions about Pure water system, Smart2Pure UV/UF 3 l/h, 1 unit(s)
What is this article?
Pure water system, Smart2Pure UV/UF 3 l/h, 1 unit(s) is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes THERMO SCIENTIFIC for laboratory use. It sits in Ultrapure & pure water systems, inside Water purification, in Instruments de précision.
A pure-water system, often by reverse osmosis and deionisation, feeds the laboratory. An ultrapure polisher takes that water to the resistivity and organic levels HPLC or cell culture ask for. Production rate and the feed water it expects are the specification. The system is not a cooler.
Laboratory water is a reagent. Tap water carries ions, organics and microbes that become part of every result they touch. A pure-water system takes most of them out. An ultrapure system, often a polisher after a first stage, is what HPLC, cell culture and trace analysis ask for. Resistivity, total organic carbon and endotoxin are different claims. A cartridge is spent when the number drifts, not when the calendar says so. The measurement of those impurities sits with NIST and the BIPM.
Which category should I open next?
The category is Water purification. The sub-category is Ultrapure & pure water systems. The catalogue is Instruments de précision.
Shelves beside this one are Water purification cartridges & consumables.
What should I check before I order?
The technical information on this page is the manufacturer's sheet. Read that, not a rewritten specification.
When this page shows a safety data sheet, use that manufacturer file. Hazard text does not belong in the sales description. For a pack size, a grade or a certificate that is not on the page, send a quote request or contact the team.
How does ordering and shipping work?
Luminix Health distributes this article from the heart of Europe. Articles in stock ship within 2–5 business days. Standard delivery is free from €250 excl. VAT. Cold-chain goods and dangerous goods under ADR are never included in that free delivery. The terms are in the Shipping Policy. The full brand index is on shop by brand. Who we are is on about us.
