This sterile unit features a hydrophilic PES membrane with high mechanical and chemical resistance and minimal protein absorption, combined with an excellent flow rate for efficient sample processing. The effective filtration area is 4,90 cm². A stable polypropylene housing withstands pressures up to 5,0 bar, supporting fast filtration. Further properties include low dead volume, stability at pH 1–14, and DNA-, DNase-, RNase- and pyrogen-free quality. Connections are Luer-Lock female and Luer cone male; membrane type and pore size are labelled on the housing to avoid mix-ups.
