ITS (Insulin, Transferrin, Selenium) is a proven combination of growth factors for serum-free cell culture. This chemically defined supplement reduces the required amount of animal components, such as FBS, in basal media. It is also routinely used in serum-free media to enhance cell viability and proliferation.
