ROTI®Prep DNA & RNA was developed to isolate both DNA and RNA separately from only one sample.The isolation is based on the lysis of a starting sample, the lysate of which is first filtered through a centrifugation column, to the membrane of which the DNA is bound. The filtrate is then transferred to a second centrifugation column, which binds the RNA. The bound DNA and RNA are washed separately in the following steps and collected in separate reaction vessels at the end.

The kit contains:

Lysis Buffer LSR, Washing Buffer WSA (conc.), Washing Buffer WSL (conc.), RNase-free Water, Elution Buffer EB, centrifugation columns DNA (blue), centrifugation columns RNA (violet), collection tubes, elution tubes, detailed instructions.Ethanol 99.8 % (p.a., Art. no. 9065), TE buffer (Art. no. 1052.1) and lysozyme (Art. no. 8259.1) are not included in the kit and should be ordered separately if required.
