Description
Rotor S-4xUniversal with four universal buckets is a high-capacity swing-bucket rotor designed for Eppendorf Centrifuge 5910 R and Centrifuge 5910 Ri systems. It reaches a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4347 × g at 4500 rpm, supporting demanding separation workflows across a wide vessel range. A broad adapter portfolio accommodates tubes and bottles from 4 mL to 1000 mL as well as plates, while the universal bucket design accepts both plates and vessels in the same rotor. Selected plate formats and conical tubes can be run with universal adapters, increasing day-to-day flexibility in multi-user laboratories. Optional aerosol-tight QuickLock lids enable safer centrifugation of hazardous samples; buckets, lids and adapters are autoclavable for routine decontamination. Supplied as one complete unit including four universal buckets from manufacturer Eppendorf, the rotor suits high-throughput clinical, research and bioprocess applications that require versatile swing-out capacity on the 5910 platform.
