Description
S 14779 Sulphide/Hydrogen Sulphide Reagent Test is a photometric reagent kit for the determination of sulphide and hydrogen sulphide in aqueous samples. It operates over a measuring range of 0,020 - 1,50 mg/l S and is intended for water analysis and environmental laboratories requiring sensitive sulphide quantification. The kit provides 220 tests with a sample volume of 5 ml and supports cuvette path lengths of 10 mm, 20 mm and 50 mm. It is compatible with PhotoLab® photometers and follows the dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine method in accordance with DIN 38405 D26 and ISO 10530. A batch certificate is included. Offered by manufacturer WTW - a Xylem brand, this reagent test delivers reproducible results for routine monitoring of sulphide species. The combination of defined measuring range, multiple cuvette options and standardised methodology makes it suitable for laboratories that need a practical, standards-aligned approach to sulphide and hydrogen sulphide determination in liquid samples.

Questions about S 14779, Sulfide/Hydrogen Sulfide Reagent test Measuring
What is this article?
S 14779, Sulfide/Hydrogen Sulfide Reagent test Measuring is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes WTW - a Xylem brand for laboratory use. It sits in ICP, AAS & ion standards, inside Analytical standards & reference materials, in Produits chimiques.
An ICP, AAS or ion standard is a solution of a stated element or ion at a stated concentration, with an uncertainty. It is the calibration point of a spectrometer or an electrode. The matrix, often dilute acid, has to match the method. A standard past its expiry is not that concentration.
A reference material is the article against which another result is compared. Its value is stated, and the uncertainty of that value is part of the product. An ICP or ion standard is a solution of known concentration. A volumetric standard is for titration. A chromatography standard is the peak you match. The grade names, including pharmacopoeia and ASTM, say which impurities were limited. Identity is checked on PubChem. Names follow IUPAC. Medicinal grades follow the European Pharmacopoeia and USP.
