Safety Cap II, V2.0, GL/S40 is a specialised screw closure for safe HPLC solvent supply, equipped with two PFA fittings for capillary outer diameters of 1,6/2,3/3,2 mm, one PFA blind plug and an integrated ventilation valve with change indicator. It blocks harmful solvent vapours and protects the HPLC system from contamination while enabling secure solvent withdrawal from bottles and containers. Constructed from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the cap resists aggressive organic solvents. The 360° rotatable screw closure is autoclavable up to 200 °C, offering flexibility and easy handling. Stable construction, a clear arrangement of connections and an improved design for colour-coded capillaries support dependable laboratory workflows.
