Safety Waste Cap "LISA", V3.0 - B53 is a modular safety closure for the secure disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. Made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), this base module carries a B53 thread and forms part of a universally expandable construction-kit system. The latest generation provides an exceptionally wide choice of individual threads, connection ports and extension options for laboratory waste handling. The supply scope comprises the selected Safety Waste Cap LISA plus 23 further accessory parts, so the assembly is ready for immediate use; a funnel or exhaust filter can be attached directly. Improved fittings ease connection of capillaries with 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter, while three hose connectors accept larger tubing of 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter. Four PFA blind plugs, three PTFE blind plugs and PTFE satellites allow components such as funnels to be extended and fixed securely. The 360° freely rotatable screw cap permits container changes without twisting connected tubing. An exhaust-filter port accepts activated-carbon filters that block harmful vapours and ensure safe pressure equalisation.
