Safety Waste Cap "LISA", V3.0 Extension is a modular expansion component for the safe disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC laboratory waste. It forms part of a modern, universally expandable modular system that offers a wide choice of threads, connections and extension options. The unit provides four fittings for capillaries of 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter together with four PFA blind plugs, plus three hose connectors for tubing of 5,0–11,5 mm inner diameter, three PTFE blind plugs and a dedicated exhaust-filter connection. Made from chemically resistant polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), the extension is supplied by manufacturer SCAT as one piece complete with a comprehensive accessory set so the system is ready for immediate use. A 360° freely rotatable screw cap allows container changes without twisting connected tubing. PTFE satellites and blind plugs support secure lengthening and attachment of funnels or other components, while the improved fitting design simplifies capillary hook-up. The exhaust-filter port accepts activated-carbon filters that block harmful vapours and ensure safe pressure equalisation inside waste containers, enabling rapid integration with any chosen Safety Waste Cap LISA base module.
