Safety Waste Cap "LISA", V3.0 – GL45 is an electrically conductive safety closure for the secure disposal of liquid HPLC and UHPLC waste. Manufactured from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), it represents the latest generation of a modern, universally expandable modular system for laboratory waste handling. The base module comprises the LISA cap with GL45 thread together with 23 accessory parts, so the assembly is ready for immediate use. Four fittings of improved design accept capillaries of 1,6 mm, 2,3 mm or 3,2 mm outer diameter and are supplied with matching PFA blind plugs. Three hose connectors accommodate larger tubing from 5,0 mm to 11,5 mm inner diameter and include PTFE blind plugs for high chemical resistance. An integrated exhaust-filter port allows attachment of activated-carbon filters that retain harmful vapours while maintaining safe pressure equalisation. The 360° freely rotatable screw cap permits container exchange without twisting connected tubing. Blind plugs and PTFE satellites support extension and secure mounting of funnels or further components. This configuration from manufacturer SCAT offers an exceptionally wide range of individual threads, connections and expansion options for reliable waste containment.
