Description
SICCO Star Desiccator Black is a stackable laboratory desiccator for dry storage of light- and UV-sensitive samples. An aluminium frame holds panes of black acrylic glass that are impermeable to light and UV radiation, with high-gloss surfaces. The cabinet is supplied complete with four polycarbonate intermediate shelves, a tray, a hygrometer and desiccant, and can be fitted with up to 26 shelves. External dimensions are 310 mm width, 525 mm height and 375 mm depth. The usable interior measures 260 x 480 x 330 mm and offers an internal volume of 51 litres. Maximum load per shelf under uniform surface loading is 10 kg, while the total load capacity reaches 30 kg. Black acrylic shielding protects contents from ambient light, and the included hygrometer plus desiccant support monitoring and maintenance of a dry atmosphere.
