SONOREX K 10 immersion basket is a stainless-steel accessory intended for holding items during ultrasonic treatment in laboratory baths. Nothing should be placed directly on the tank floor during operation, as abrasion can occur between the load and the oscillating vessel; a suitable basket is therefore recommended. The design keeps the contents continuously in the optimal cavitation zone, approximately 1–2 cm above the bottom. With this basket the material can be placed comfortably into the device and removed afterwards for rinsing without the operator contacting the sonication liquid. Internal dimensions are 250 x 195 x 50 mm. Supplied by manufacturer Bandelin as a single package, the basket has a net weight of 0,5 kg and a gross weight of 1,018 kg.
