Description
Standard incubator BF260-230V is a forced-air laboratory incubator operating from +7 °C above ambient temperature up to +100 °C. With a generous nominal volume of 257 l, it is intended for all incubation tasks, especially when the chamber is fully loaded and sample throughput is high. APT.line™ technology provides homogeneous temperature distribution and high temperature accuracy. An LCD controller, programmable functions and an adjustable fan enable precise control of temperature parameters and air-circulation conditions. The unit features an electromechanical exhaust-air flap, a safety-glass (ESG) inner door and two chrome-plated shelves. An integrated class 3.1 temperature selector monitor to DIN 12880 delivers an optical alarm; a USB port supports data recording and Ethernet connectivity is available. Ergonomic handle design and a Euro plug (type C) complete the practical laboratory layout. Compared with typical market instruments, the series can be up to 30 % more energy-efficient. This incubator from manufacturer Binder is supplied as 1 pc, with a net weight of 91 kg and a gross weight of 93 kg, for large-capacity incubation work.

Questions about Standard-Incubators BF260-230V
What is this article?
Standard-Incubators BF260-230V is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Binder for laboratory use. It sits in Muffle & tube furnaces, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A muffle furnace surrounds a sample with heat for ashing or ignition, often to 1100 °C. A tube furnace heats a sample in a controlled atmosphere inside a tube. The maximum temperature and the chamber size are the specification. A drying oven is not a furnace.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
