Temperature probe, NTC with aluminium sleeve is designed for precise temperature measurements in liquids, pasty media and air. Its NTC sensing element delivers accuracy up to ±0,2 °C, while the aluminium sleeve and flat tip support reliable contact with the medium under test. A 2,4 m cable links the probe to compatible instruments, and the IP 65 protection rating allows outdoor use as well as permanent mounting at the measuring point with a clamp or PG gland (not included). The response time t90 of 12 seconds refers to measurements in moving water at +60 °C and becomes longer in still liquids, pastes or air. For air temperature work the response is typically 40 to 60 times slower, which can be advantageous when short temperature peaks should have little influence, for example during refrigerator monitoring.
