The testo 112 conformity-assessed temperature measuring instrument is a professional handheld meter for official temperature control in food inspection and quality assurance. With combined NTC and Pt100 technology it covers both low temperatures in cold stores and high temperatures such as deep-fryer checks, making it suitable for food inspectors, quality officers, veterinarians and pathologists. Selected conformity-assessed Pt100 and NTC probes (ordered separately) are approved with the instrument for official measurements; manufacturer Testo carries out the required conformity assessment procedure under the applicable weights and measures regulations before sale. Integrated self-monitoring gives confidence before each measurement. A large illuminated display, acoustic alarm on limit exceedance, user-definable limit values, minimum and maximum value detection and Auto-Hold support efficient fieldwork. Optional accessories include the dishwasher-safe TopSafe protective cover, which reaches IP65 with a connected probe, and a fast printer for on-site protocols with date and time.
