Description
testo 735-2 is a precision temperature measuring instrument for surface, air and core temperatures of diverse media, achieving system accuracy up to 0,05 °C and resolution of 0,001 °C when used with a high-precision Pt100 immersion/penetration probe. It provides one input for highly accurate Pt100 probes and two inputs for fast thermocouple probes of types K, T, J and S, and can receive wireless readings from up to three additional temperature radio probes, enabling up to six channels on the clear display. The measuring range extends from −200 °C to 1760 °C depending on the connected probes. Up to 10 000 measured values can be stored, with as many as 99 measuring locations and multiple user profiles; storage cycles are freely selectable from 0,5 seconds to 24 hours. Supplied PC software supports tabular and graphical analysis, while optional infrared printing allows on-site printouts. The display shows Delta T, min/max and mean values and issues an acoustic alarm on limit violation; backlighting aids reading in dark surroundings. The instrument is waterproof to IP65, tested to EN 13485, HACCP-compliant and HACCP-International certified. Compact handheld format (74 mm × 46 mm × 220 mm) from manufacturer Testo, battery-powered, pack size 1 pc.

Questions about testo 735-2 - Multichannel thermometer
What is this article?
testo 735-2 - Multichannel thermometer is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Testo for laboratory use. It sits in Digital thermometers, inside Temperature measurement, in Instruments de laboratoire.
A digital thermometer is a display plus a sensor. The resolution on the screen can be finer than the accuracy. The stated accuracy and the calibration point are what the number is worth. The probe type has to be the one the meter expects.
A thermometer reports a temperature. A liquid-in-glass thermometer is a calibrated column. A digital thermometer is a sensor and a display, and the sensor, not the display, is what is calibrated. An infrared thermometer reads a surface and depends on emissivity. A data logger stores the reading over time. Without a stated uncertainty and a calibration point, the number is only an indication. The scale is maintained by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET. Accreditation is BELAC.
