The twin.tec® Trace PCR Plate 96 is a skirted 96-well PCR plate with 150 µL wells, supplied as a pack of 25 crystal blue plates for PCR and related molecular workflows. A one-piece design combines a polycarbonate frame with polypropylene wells, balancing rigidity with efficient thermal performance. Extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells promote optimal temperature transfer, while the stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame resists warping, bending or breakage during incubation and centrifugation. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on every plate strengthen process traceability. The laser-engraved optical guidance grid and OptiTrack® matrix allow fast, confident well alignment during manual pipetting. Raised well rims support effective sealing and help minimise cross-contamination. Each batch is tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors (PCR clean).
