twin.tec® Trace PCR Plates 384 BioBased LoBind are skirted, clear 384-well plates for PCR workflows that help reduce the CO2 footprint of laboratory consumables. Each plate offers a 45 µL well volume and is supplied PCR clean—batch-tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors. The one-piece design combines a polycarbonate frame with extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells to deliver optimal temperature transfer during thermal cycling. An exceptionally stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame prevents warping, bending or breakage during incubation or centrifugation. Raised well rims support effective sealing and lower the risk of cross-contamination. Laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates on every plate improve process traceability, while a unique laser-engraved optical guide grid and OptiTrack® matrix enable fast well alignment during manual pipetting. These ACT-certified plates from manufacturer Eppendorf carry independent sustainability validation by My Green Lab and are packed as 25 plates. Barcode versions are available on request for automated handling.
