twin.tec® Trace PCR Plates 384 BioBased are clear, skirted PCR plates with a 45 µL well volume, developed for high-density PCR applications while reducing the CO2 footprint of laboratory consumables. Every plate carries laser-engraved lot numbers and expiry dates to strengthen laboratory process traceability, complemented by a unique laser-engraved optical guidance grid and OptiTrack® matrix for rapid well orientation during manual pipetting. The one-piece design unites a polycarbonate frame with polypropylene wells to deliver reliable performance: extremely thin-walled polypropylene wells guarantee optimal temperature transfer, and the exceptionally stable, torsion-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate frame prevents warping, bending or breaking during incubation or centrifugation. Raised well rims support effective sealing and help lower the risk of cross-contamination. These plates from manufacturer Eppendorf are batch-tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and PCR inhibitors (PCR clean) and are supplied in packs of 25. ACT certification reflects independent sustainability validation by My Green Lab, and barcode options are available on request.
