Universal Waste Hub "JAN" with GL45 thread is a safety funnel system designed for the secure collection of liquid laboratory waste. It combines a funnel with lid, hose and HPLC connections and an integrated exhaust air filter in one compact unit, offering a practical alternative to conventional open waste funnels. High-quality PE-HD and PTFE materials support durability in routine lab use. The funnel lid incorporates a sealing lip to limit escape of harmful vapours, while a removable dirt sieve eases cleaning. A 140 mm funnel basin provides high flow for larger liquid volumes. The hub includes four connections for 1,6/2,3/3,2 mm OD tubing with four PFA blank plugs, three ports for 5,0–11,5 mm ID hose with three PTFE blank plugs, plus exhaust filter size M with splash protection and change indicator. Accessories such as fittings, connectors and blank closures are supplied. This Universal Waste Hub from manufacturer SCAT is compatible with SCAT exhaust filter sizes S/M/L and can be extended with thread adapters; an electrically conductive version is available separately for flammable waste streams.
