UV Compact 38 UV flow-through emitter is a compact UV disinfection unit designed for germ reduction and photo-oxidation to lower TOC in pure water, ultrapure water and process water. The UV lamp sits in a pressure-resistant quartz tube inside an externally electropolished stainless-steel housing (1.4301). An internal volume diversion supports a high microbial kill rate and effective TOC breakdown. The control unit is housed in a separate plastics enclosure and linked to the emitter by a connection cable; installation is possible in both horizontal and vertical orientations. At 1200 J/m² and T10 = 98 %, the unit delivers a water flow of 63,3 l/min (3800 l/h). Maximum operating pressure is 10 bar with a pressure drop of at most 0,1 bar, and the admissible water temperature is 35 °C. A single lamp operates at 254 / 185 nm with a rated lifetime of 8000 h and a radiant power of 170 W from manufacturer Evoqua Water Technologies. Electrical supply is 230 V, 50–60 Hz; process connections are 2''. Overall dimensions are approximately 1300 mm height and 205 mm diameter, with 1050 mm between water connections; free height of 2500 mm is required above the unit for lamp removal.
