Description
VALEGRO 801 circulating chiller is an air-cooled recirculating cooler for versatile cooling and heating duties from −20 to +40 °C in laboratory, research and production settings. It provides a constant cooling capacity of 0,8 kW at 20 °C to support stable processes around the clock. The pump can be adjusted conveniently in percentage stages to match application needs, and the refrigeration circuit uses an environmentally friendly natural refrigerant. Compact construction allows the unit to fit neatly into typical work environments. Practical features include a simple timer, a ventilation grille removable without tools, an illuminated easy-to-clean fill-level indicator and castors for easier handling. Temperature stability is specified at ± 0,3 °C. An inclined OLED touch display with intuitive full-text menus (German/English), help texts, data logging and autostart simplifies daily use; warnings appear in plain language. RS232 and USB-C interfaces are standard, with optional Ethernet; connections are located under the display for front access. Scope of delivery from manufacturer Julabo includes hose olives for 8 and 12 mm i.d. tubing on M16x1 pump connections. Net weight is 43 kg.

Questions about VALEGRO 801 Recirculating cooler
What is this article?
VALEGRO 801 Recirculating cooler is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes Julabo for laboratory use. It sits in Circulators, chillers & thermostats, inside Heating, drying & cooling, in Instruments de précision.
A circulator or thermostat holds a bath liquid at a set temperature and pumps it through a jacket. A chiller is the same idea aimed below ambient. The temperature range, the cooling power and the pump flow are the three numbers. The fluid has to match the range.
Temperature equipment either holds a set point or drives a sample toward one. An oven dries. A furnace reaches the temperatures of ashing and melting. A bath surrounds a vessel with water or oil. A circulator moves that fluid. An incubator holds the mild warmth of a culture. An autoclave uses steam under pressure to sterilise. The number that matters is the temperature the article actually reaches, not the number painted on the dial. Temperature is part of the international system kept by the BIPM and compared by EURAMET.
