Volumetric flask, brown glass, white graduation, class A, KB, 25 ml, NS 12/21, coated is a precision measuring vessel intended for accurate volume determination of light-sensitive solutions. Fabricated from heat-resistant borosilicate glass 3.3, the amber body features white enamel graduations and class A calibration to contain (KB). A specially composed transparent polymer coating covers the flask body like a protective glove; should breakage occur, the coating retains the glass fragments and minimises leakage, retaining hazardous or valuable contents inside in most cases. The coating remains highly transparent, tolerates temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, can be cleaned at up to 95 °C and autoclaved at 121 °C, yet must never contact an open flame. Technical data are identical to those of the matching clear and brown uncoated series.
