Description
Volumetric flask, class A, KB, blue graduation, PP stopper, coated, 150 ml, NS 14/23 is a precision measuring vessel intended for safe handling of hazardous or valuable solutions. Made from borosilicate glass 3.3 and calibrated to class A accuracy, the flask body is covered with a specially formulated transparent coating that behaves like a protective glove. Should breakage occur, the coating holds the glass fragments together, reducing spill risk and limiting exposure. The coating remains clear, withstands temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes, can be cleaned at up to 95 °C and is autoclavable at 121 °C; it must not come into direct contact with an open flame. Blue graduation markings support easy meniscus reading, while the polypropylene stopper provides a secure closure. The ground joint is NS 14/23. Coated clear and amber volumetric flasks share the same technical specifications. Supplied by manufacturer ISOLAB Laborgeräte in packs of 2 pieces, this coated class A flask is suited to analytical, quality-control and research laboratories working with critical liquids.

Questions about volumetric flask - standard - clear - class A - conformity batch certified -
What is this article?
volumetric flask - standard - clear - class A - conformity batch certified - is the article on this page. Luminix Health distributes ISOLAB for laboratory use. It sits in Volumetric flasks, inside Volumetric glassware, in Matériel de laboratoire.
A volumetric flask is calibrated to contain one volume at a reference temperature, with a single mark on a narrow neck. Class A is the tight tolerance. It is not a storage bottle and it is not for heating. The stopper is part of the calibrated article.
Volumetric glassware is glass that has been calibrated to contain or to deliver one stated volume at a reference temperature. That calibration is the whole point. Class A and class AS have a tighter tolerance than class B. A volumetric flask contains. A pipette and a burette deliver. A measuring cylinder is the coarser reading, used when the volume is not the result. The classes sit under ISO laboratory glassware. The chain back to the unit of volume is the work of the BIPM and of NIST.
