Water sample bottle PP with sodium thiosulfate, brown, sterile (R), 1000 ml is a polypropylene container engineered for the collection, transport and storage of water samples for microbiological analysis. It meets the needs of any procedure that requires a sterile specimen. Bottles are produced in aseptically controlled environments and then sterilised by gamma irradiation; packaging displays batch numbers together with manufacturing and expiry dates. The square shape facilitates handling and space-efficient stacking, while the GL 50 neck permits easy filling and pouring. A polyethylene cap fitted with wide grip grooves, self-locking action and an internal safety ring guarantees a hermetic, leak-proof seal. Embossed volume markings on the walls improve visibility of the fill level. Pre-loaded with sodium thiosulfate at 20 mg/l conforming to ISO/FIS 19458/2006, the bottle is ideal when chlorine could modify sample composition. The brown PP grade blocks UV light yet maintains high transparency for content inspection.
