Counting system KERN CCA 6K-5M is a high-resolution piece-counting system for tallying very small parts in large lots, with a maximum displayable count of 999,999 pieces. The CCA configuration links a precision reference balance to a sturdy quantity platform so that numerous separate scales can be substituted economically. Optional verification extends suitability to legally controlled weighing tasks. An RS-232 Y-cable interconnects the balances and offers an additional port for a printer. The reference instrument is a KERN EWJ precision balance that can also operate independently; timed internal automatic adjustment every 2 h supports stable accuracy regardless of installation site. A draft shield is fitted as standard around a weighing chamber measuring 134×128×80 mm, and a protective working cover is included. Quantity counting is carried out with high precision on the KERN IFS platform scale from manufacturer Kern, built to heavy industrial standards for harsh environments. Its ergonomic indicator provides a large keypad and high-contrast LCD displays for weight, reference weight and total piece count, 100 article memory places, stepwise manual reference optimisation, piece summing, and date/time printing.
